All Protocols Observed
The January 6th Annual Maroon Celebration is a virtual event for all.
Due to Covid 19 spread within Jamaica and the inability of the Andrew Holness led government and Christopher Tufton as Minister of Health to bring the spread under control, the Government of the Cockpit Country has put in place several safeguards to protect maroons coming home to observe their religious and cultural rights. The Govt of Jamaica opened the international borders to tourist causing several variants of the virus to spread on the shores of Jamaica.
