Munro College Old Boys Donate To Black River Hospital

Munro College Old Boys class of 1992 donated a cheque of $220,000 to the Southern Regional Health Authority – Black River Hospital. The Munro College old boys saw a post on social media with the hospital’s supply needs and decided to contribute.

Several hospitals across Jamaica’s health system is coming under pressure because of rise in prices and covid-19 cases. Recently, hospitals ran out of oxygen and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jacquiline Bisasor McKenzie announced that most hospitals are over the capacity of beds designated for COVID-19 management. As such, general hospital beds are being used for COVID-19 care.
